Due to NHS commissioning arrangements set by the local Integrated Care Board (ICB), there are limits on how many clients can begin ADHD medication treatment within each financial year. This is part of an Indicative Activity Plan (IAP), which manages service capacity across the NHS.
While referrals remain open, this may result in delays to starting or adjusting medication. In some cases, treatment may need to wait until later in the year or the next financial year. As a provider, we are unable to override these NHS commissioning limits. We understand this may be frustrating and want to reassure you that you remain on our pathway.
If your mental health or wellbeing worsens, you can find support at HERE or please contact your GP or NHS 111. In an emergency, attend A&E or call 999. We will keep you updated as soon as treatment capacity becomes available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
