Only GPs, Allied Health Professionals or Social Workers can make referrals for NHS funded assessments. They will ask for information from you to support the referral. After referral, The Owl Centre will also request further information from you to ensure that the referral is appropriate. If appropriate, you will be accepted onto the waiting list.
We will contact you when you are close to the top of the waiting list to start the assessment process. Unfortunately, the waiting lists within Hampshire and Isle of Wight are extremely long.
We will contact you at regular intervals when on the waiting list. If any information changes, please could you update us via the email link below. This may include changes such as:
- moving out of the area
- you have had a private assessment
- you no longer require the assessment
